In addition to in-house resources, the TeleMedicine program can provide emergency patients with access to some of Arizona’s top physicians in the areas of burns, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, pulmonology, and trauma. Remotely, teams at CQCH can communicate with physicians at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, the Grossman Burn Center in Phoenix, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, and specialists at both Tucson Medical Center and Banner-UMC hospitals in Tucson.

The Fast Track system at CQCH makes it possible for each emergency patient to be evaluated immediately upon arrival to diminish emergency department wait times. A physician can treat patients in the Fast Track area to ensure that non-critical problems such as sore throats, rashes, and abrasions receive fast and high-quality emergency care, while maintaining space for critical emergency patients.
