CARDIOPULMONARY
Copper Queen Community Hospital’s Cardio-Pulmonary Services department is dedicated to improving your every breath by using state-of-the-art equipment. The Cardio-Pulmonary staff includes licensed and board certified Respiratory Therapists to assist with both inpatient and outpatient needs. Some of the cardio-pulmonary services include arterial blood gas sampling to determine lung efficiency, electrocardiography, and 24 hour in-home cardiac monitoring. CQCH’s Cardio-Pulmonary Services department also offers more advanced testing such as Body Plethysmography* to extensively measure lung functioning. All procedural requests must have a physician’s referral.
*Body Plethsmography is a pulmonary function test to determine the amount of air present in the lungs after taking a deep breath, then how much air is left in your lungs after exhaling as much as possible.
