With an increase in supply and availability of oral antivirals in the state, the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) approved moving to Tier 3 of the Antiviral Prioritization Criteria. Under Tier 3 criteria, the use of the oral antivirals is expanded for use in all eligible patients within the general population.

Monoclonal Antibody Infusions at Copper Queen Community Hospital.
Copper Queen Community Hospital offers monoclonal antibody infusions to reduce the severity of COVID-19 and reduce hospitalizations and deaths. The IV infusion takes about an hour followed an hour of observation. These antibodies are now approved (emergency use) for children as young as newborns. Eligibility not only includes individuals with COVID-19 but at-risk people who have a known exposure to a person with COVID-19.
