Home Health CareCopper Valley Home Health (CVHH), a division of Copper Queen Community Hospital, is a full service Home Health Agency, serving a large portion of Cochise County. CVHH cares for patient in their homes. Patients range from those who are recovering from surgery to those who are learning to manage a chronic disease or cope with a serious illness while remaining in their homes.

CVHH nurses work from 8:30 – 5:00, seven days a week, and a nurse is on-call 24 hours a day. Services provided include:

  • Skilled Nursing: including but not limited to management and instruction regarding:
    • Heart and lung disease
    • Wound care
    • Diabetic disease
    • Medication regimen
    • Adult home infusion
  • Rehabilitation:
    • Stroke rehab
    • Fracture and trauma rehab
    • Home safety and mobility instruction

Home telemonitoring is a recent enhancement to our services. Selected, appropriate patients can be monitored by units that electronically measure health indicators such as blood pressure, oxygen levels, diabetic glucose levels and wound status. To learn more, visit the Tele-Health Services page

CVHH does not provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing or homemaking except as authorized by Medicare or private insurance.

CVHH provides Personal Emergency Response System monitors, also, which provide a measure of comfort and security for patients living alone, or in need of the ability to summon help via the response button.
